BLAIR MCCORMICK - Executive director
Blair is a senior non-profit executive with over 20 years of leadership experience. He has a passion for serving the greater community, having worked with a variety of non-profit societies in the social housing and disability sectors. Blair holds a Master of Science in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University (WGU). Blair is Nehiyaw & member of the Sweetgrass First Nation. In his spare time, Blair is an active community and domestic violence volunteer and enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, golfing and gardening.

Community Outreach Coordinator

CFAN’s Community Outreach Coordinator works with the Executive Director to oversee all aspects of CFAN’s funding agreements/contracts with community-based organizations. The Community Outreach Coordinator represents CFAN at a number of community tables, and is able to communicate with a diverse set of stakeholders. In addition, the Community Outreach Coordinator provides referrals, education, and other short-term solutions to individuals who call the FASD referral line, and oversees applications to the Empowerment Fund.

CFAN’S Manager of Education focuses on training for professionals working with women that are pregnant and using substances during pregnancy and post-partum, along with those working with individuals diagnosed or suspected of FASD. Training sessions include evidence-based strategies on how to effectively work with this population. The role also includes research in partnership with Alberta Health Services, Children’s Hospital and the University of Calgary, focusing on areas around cannabis use and parenting and FASD.

CFAN’s Community Engagement Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing broad communication, engagement and fund development strategies. This includes social media content and development, website management, campaigns and marketing.
FASD Collective Coordinator

The FASD Collective Coordinator is the main point of contact for the collective. The role liaises with and coordinates activities for stakeholders and members of the collective, in creating lasting positive change across systems and practices impacting individuals and families with FASD.
